That Mighty Anvil

Speaking of series – I just saw another large batch of Desperate Housewives episodes yesterday and encountered the probably most awful and most awesome plot device ever.

Consider a relationship that basically works on the fact that it isn’t working; where in every episode you have the feeling that now, finally, those two will get together [...]

Okay – depicting the seven Deadly Sins might be considered a classic amongst art students.

Yet still – the Flickr Pool theSeVen tries to add a bit spice to it and has 21 contributors adding their interpretations of those sins [...]

Creating Folders on the Fly in Finder

Woven at 2007-05-02T15:27, coloured as .

I’m just wondering: why can’t I select several files in the Finder, open the contextual menu and choose “Collect Files in a New Folder”? Why do I have to create the folder first and then drop the files onto it?

After all … this sort of grouping does work in iTunes … SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: “Creating Folders on [...]

Message in a Bottle: The Bananas Are After Me Originally uploaded by Batty aka Photobat.

This is what makes games worthwile: little easter eggs that pop up here and there. This is one of them.

The Front Door, facing the KGB Originally uploaded by Stuck in Customs.

Pushing HDR to its extreme … the effect is much more that of a painting than an actual photography, making it look hyper realistic.

I love that sort of picture.

Sheesh … ten posts about cinema and even more movies, and exactly one link. Where’s the hyper-text? It can’t be that difficult to link to the IMDB-entry of every movie you mention, right?

*sigh*

I guess that’s exactly the point why I’m writing this Facharbeit …

Looks like the FlashLARP PotterSpace caused quite a stir in the Blogosphere. [...]

This is just a test using imified.com.

Let’s see if I can post an entry using Adium without the system screwing up most of it.

Edit

Well, that seemed to work quite well. I’m not quite sure if it will increase my productivity … but nevertheless, to just add a short entry, it will do nicely. Thanks to [...]

infoscreen der sbb Originally uploaded by phpfreak…. Very informative, having Windows telling all travellers that it just screwed up, right?I would be so embarrassed if I were working in SBB’s IT department. This thing is failing as ungracefully as it can possibly get.Come on: let it run on something stable, far less chatty than Windows – and, most of all, program it to fail gracefully and invisibly to your customers. Can that be so hard to accomplish?
