Information Flow
How information flows among my friends:
- Person A agrees with me and Person B about a Munchkin night on tuesday around a week before said tuesday.
- On monday, Person A gets invited by Person C for a Magic: The Gathering meeting. At 3 o’clock on tuesday morning, Person A agrees to come – and goes to sleep.
- Person D, who lives with Person C learns on tuesday morning that Person A has agreed to go to that Magic gathering. He asks Person B over IM whether she knows about that. She doesn’t.
- Person B asks me whether I know. I don’t.
- I write an e-Mail to Person A asking what is going on.
- Person A wakes up at around 10 o’clock tuesday morning, checks his e-mail and goes “WTF?? How do they know I said yes to the Magic meeting?”
- Person A writes an e-mail to me, stating that he would meet me and Person B.
- I tell so Person B.
- Person B tells Person D.
- Person D tells Person C en passant.
- Person C goes “WTF?”
- Person C later finds Person A’s e-mail stating that he had e previous engagement.
Oh, the humanity …
