Looks like this is the next installment of BoingBoings seeminly neverending stream of Science Fiction novel recommendations: Peter Watts, who apparently writes gritty, dark and fast paced SF.
Peter writes the angriest, darkest sf I’ve ever read, heart-rending stuff that makes you glad you’re alive if only because you’re better off than his characters.
I wouldn’t mind getting Starfish to start off the Rifters Trilogy – too bad that no one usually making me presents reads this blog1 …
