Got Quest?
[Hehe.
Yesterday I’ve seen [«Casino Royale»][1]. Interestingly, it seems that this production never really got a tagline slapped on. After watching it, I guess I know why. The only one that would have made sense would be “Run, Forrest James, run!”
Sometimes, I really feel stupid when I start bitching around about some stupidLike said, I didn’t think I was stupid, but for a moment there I thought, maybe I am. But the fact that this has happened twice, and I have whitnessed the confusion with other passengers today, I conclude that it is the design of the station, not people’s stupidity, that has caused me to miss my train.Although initially I didn’t think the overall architecture of the station was bad, my admiration soured over time. I saw some pictures of some of the proposed alternatives, and now I always look at what was built and think of what it could have been.
Better look out; luckily, there are some guidelines available that will help you: If you pay close attention to your son’s reading habits, as I do, you will be able to determine a great deal about his opinions and hobbies…. Any father who has had a seventeen year old daughter attempt to sneak out on a date wearing make up and perfume is well aware of the effect that improper influences can have on inexperienced minds. There are, unfortunately, many hacking manuals available in bookshops today. A few titles to be on the lookout for are: “Snow Crash” and “Cryptonomicon” by Neal Stephenson; “Neuromancer” by William Gibson; “Programming with Perl” by Timothy O’Reilly; “Geeks” by Jon Katz; “The Hacker Crackdown” by Bruce Sterling; “Microserfs” by Douglas Coupland; “Hackers” by Steven Levy; and “The Cathedral and the Bazaar” by Eric S.
Thanks to Sveta’s livejournal, I discovered the spanish photographer Eugenio Recuenco. With a good eye for the weird and wicked and a talent for exceptionally good lighting he creates haunting images verging at the edge of the surreal and grotesque, resembling renaissance and baroque paintings.
“The absurd rendering of many of the animals comes about because the engravers/artists working on the project did not actually see the animals. They had to rely on descriptions and their imagination and, as was the fashion of the time, the animals were placed in contrived settings and often given human facial qualities, which only serves to heighten the sense of bizarre. And thankful we are too.”
I’m actually thinking about placing my brain in a nutrition fluid and migrating into the internet. Life would be surely far easier there. I could live in Second Life and build myself the perfect partner, which, according to some psycho test, must be some perfectly balanced being surely only existing as a theoretical role model [...]
By blog.FABRICA: this is so perfectly how I feel right now. *aarghh* – which also means that I haven’t even set up my computer at home …
I ordered Hispeed Internet today, but I got a notice that Cablecom will have to check the house’s installation. Knowing Cablecom, I don’t think we can expect to have [...]
Finally, almost being 24, I’m moving out of my parent’s place. Not in the big city, though, and not even in a spacious loft all for myself … but still a nice place, together with a good friend.
According to a poll by the magazine Mobile, more than three quarters of Motorola mobile phone users would not buy another Motorola handset because they are too difficult to use.
Why does that not surprise me? Honestly, I love my RAZR for its sleek design, but the interface is both ugly and a pain to use. [...]
