Unclickable Corners in a Site
Yet another one of those ‘Note-to-myself-posts’:

Symptoms
A table is automatically resized so all content will fit in. The table is placed in a fixed-width floating container. The accomodate the content, the table will overlap the container on the side as shown on the right. In Safari, the overlapping content can neither be selected, nor can links be clicked. It’s as if all content out of bounds doesn’t exist.
Solution
Define the table as position: relative. Links are clickable again. Solution found here, deeply buried in some comments. Untested in InternetExplorer.
