Yes, it’s another one of those Web 2.0 ideas. But it’s fun, and, most of all, it could be a useful tool for people like artists, theatre companies and all kinds of other groups that want to promote their events.
Events for metros can be tracked by iCal-calendars or newsfeeds, events can be marked private, you can connect with other people by marking them as friends and therefore allowing you to be notified by their events …
The more events there are, the more fun it will be, and the more useful it will become (It’s hard to believe that Zurich is supposed to have only three upcoming events (that’s even less than Bern …)).
