I asked for your opinion — and everything remained silent. (Not quite true by the time as I post this, as there was a bit of protest … but read my rules first, please). Well then, I’ll have it my way then. I’m going to write in English from now on; at least some of my post.

I set myself the following rules:

• Standard language is English, except
• if linked pages are mainly German (doesn’t make sense to write in English about something that is only of interest for German speaking readers)
• and if the subject is German at its core (which mostly means DSA-stuff, a German system, so it would be nonsense to write in English about it)
• and if it is a paper for university – I’ll keep them in their original language; I’m too lazy to translate them.

Does that sound okay? I do hope so.

Apart from that, I’m slowly preparing to leave Galway. It’s the right time to do so — my bike is falling to bits and pieces, there isn’t much toothpaste left, and I’m definitely yearning for some nice, warm, spicy, lovingly home cooked food. Not having the proper tools in this kitchen takes the the fun out of cooking. But I enjoyed doing it, when I was in the mood to improvise; and I clearly must ask Barb for more recipes. They’re great.
